Water

From the time I was a little girl and spent hours digging in the sand with my sister in Weymouth England, to the present when I still dig in the sand with my family in California, I have felt a powerful connection to the ocean. Being there and feeling the off shore breezes, the salt air, and the sound of the waves heals my soul. I also get a sense of that feeling when I’m submerged in cool blue water of a swimming pool. I feel there is room in my water imagery for self reflection and expression, joy and contemplation.
